Land of snow and fairy tales, Lapland. Here you will be blown away by the majestic scenery of the Arctic, where only a lucky few have been before. The thrill of witnessing northern lights is a once in a lifetime experience. Finland is one of the best places to spot Aurorae. In northern Lapland, the lights shine almost about every other clear night between September and March.

This is not just a photography workshop. It is an experience where you will see dancing northern lights, walk around friendly Huskies, observe Reindeers in their natural habitat, ride husky & reindeer sledges and much more. Photographers from every level can attend. If you are not into photography but just after the beautiful views and experience, you are welcome too.

DAY 1: ROVANIEMI

Welcome to Lapland. Upon arrival at the airport, our private vehicle will be waiting to take us to our hotel in Rovaniemi. Once we check in to our hotel, we will take a walk in the village of Santa Claus. You will totally feel as if you are in a fairy tale. We will be visiting Santa in his very office and even cross the Arctic Circle. Enjoying the day in town, we will have a table in a restaurant where we can sample the local cuisine. If we are lucky, we can observe northern lights after dinner and take photos. Afterwards, we head back to the hotel in Rovaniemi to spend the night and rest.

DAY 2: LEVI

After having breakfast in our hotel, we check out and head towards Levi on a 2-hour road trip. If we are lucky on our way, we may come across to reindeers in their natural habitat, temperatures below -40 degrees. Once we arrive, we check in to our spacious, modern villa offering a breath-taking view. Be ready to spend 4 days in the most beautiful villa of Levi under Northern Lights. After claiming our rooms, we head towards the town centre for lunch. After lunch, you will have free time to walk around. Then we will leave the town centre to try Finnish sauna. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit. This will probably be the most unforgettable yet experience of the trip, wild yet most enjoyable. Satisfaction guaranteed. 😊After the Finnish sauna, we will head back to our villa for dinner and chase the northern lights out. 

DAY 3: LEVI

After having our breakfast, we will be visiting a husky ranch. Professional Husky trainers will present their daily tasks to our group. Before having a 3km husky sledging safari, a young husky trainer will give us a short lecture. We will take a lot of photographs during this event. Afterwards, will have a short break while enjoying freshly baked, smoking hot cookies and juices.

We return to Levi and will have free time until dinner. After dinner, we leave our residence to take photographs of northern lights. Our carefully chosen vantage point is overseeing a heavenly lake, offering a magnificent view of photography. We will be spending the night in Levi.

DAY 4: LEVI

Today morning, we will be visiting Game of Thrones-themed ice hotel located 125 miles above the arctic circle. It takes 30 minutes to ride from Levi and our guide will present us how this hotel is built by ice sculptors. For lunch, we head back to Levi. We will have a photography workshop and capture spectacular photos of forests covered with ice and snow and high mountains. After dinner, we again go out to chase northern lights and take photos. It will be our daily routine evening, to take photos of Northern lights when we are in Lapland. Overnight: Levi

DAY 5: LEVI

After breakfast, we will be visiting a reindeer ranch.  We will be observing how reindeers are spending their daily life. We will hop on to our sledges and take a trip in the wild nature of Lapland. It will be truly unforgettable where we will take lots of photos. After this cold trip, we will return to our villa to sit by the fireplace and sip warm coffee. During the day we will take photos of the forests covered in snow and majestic mountains. For the night, our plan is to hike up a hill where we can observe vivid northern lights super clearly. House of Santa is also located here. If we are lucky, we could even see Santa, who knows? :) Overnight in Levi

DAY 6: ROVANIEMI

Goodbye Lapland. After breakfast, we check out and head to the airport.
