A memoir from our Cappadocia workshop in November 2017.

Serkan Sonmez - Sotfware Developer

The Black Sea region was the route I wanted to go for years. I impulsively decided to join the trip. It's been an epic trip. The tour even deviated out of plan and ended up in some surprise highlands. During the journey, there was a couple who did more than they could on us. Again, I want to thank them for making such a tour. The friendships on the trip, I think, are the most significant things left. Thanks again.

Dennis Hellwig - Professional Photographer - Germany

I met Cuma and his wife Merve at the Kayseri & Cappadocia photo tour in Turkey. Both were very nice and helpful, and it was essential for them that the group feels comfortable. I saw that the trip was very well planned and organised. During the tour, both did everything that we all got good pictures. Especially Merve was posing for us a few times in the cold. Both are very down to earth; I even thought at the beginning, both would also be workshop participants of the tour. Check out their work on Instagram too! I hope we will meet again soon! Good luck on your journey!

Seref Onder - Plan B Advertising

A person's experience and knowledge comes from the fact that he loves what he does. But having the heart to share them generously means being the right person. What a joy it was to have known these good people in an incredibly fun organisation. His wife, my dear Merve, is a proper proof of the saying “Behind every successful man, there is a woman” May you always have the joy that you have shared with us for the rest of your lives.

Cuma and Merve Çevik's - whose photos I had been admiring for a long time - three-day Cappadocia photography workshop was a must for me. The trip was perfect in every aspect. The meticulous and professional approach they took from the first moment I contacted them, the eagerness to share and teach their knowledge and experience was thanks to the endless energetic, positive and friendly personalities they had. I want to express my sincere thanks once again from this platform.

Eren Diler - Veterinarian

We spent three full sleepless days to the point where we got freezing, but it was all for taking adorable photos. Cuma and his wife, Merve, cared for everyone, one on one without any complaints. Thanks to the tour, I learned a lot as a photographer. I feel lucky to have met these two amazing photographers. And also his other participants were a lot of fun. I look forward to their first tour abroad.

 Betul Arslan - Math Teacher

It was the third tour of Cuma and Merve, and I wanted to participate in the first two, but I had to give up at the last minute because of some setbacks. When the third tour was announced, I said to myself that I would go no matter what, and they didn't make me regret it for a second. Three days could not have been more filled up with different shooting locations and concepts. I'm looking forward to the next tour. I would have liked to leave a negative review here, but both are such, good-hearted, and humble people that I can write no criticism at all. It was so lovely to meet you, and I wish you many beautiful projects in the future. Thank you!

Mutlu Caglar - Turkish Teacher

It is forewarning to those who want to go on a photo trip with an incredibly energetic couple; their energy never ends, and they tend to teach regularly. If you have a lazy and calm personality, stay away from these people! They are sincere, very qualified and highly equipped people. Husband and wife have perfect harmony and respect. I don't want to only once again. I want to join a dozen times again. Thank you!

Eren Sahin - Photographer

I write this review after the trip to Cappadocia and Yılkı Horses. The trip was beautifully planned from start to finish, so I took some beautiful photos that were far above expectations. Thanks to their smiling faces, they did their best to capture the frames we wanted. Merve posed for us in a strappy dress in the cold until everyone took the photo they wanted. Cuma, he shared essential information with the small Photoshop tutorials he gave in the evenings. Would I go on a tour again, absolutely yes! I would go on any other trip without any hesitation. Thanks, Cuma& Merve.

Aysen Bakis - Banker

I participated in the Black Sea tour between 1-7 September 2018. I admired Cuma and Merve's helpful, friendly, sharing characters that paid attention to every detail and everyone with a great deal. I would go on their every tour without hesitation whenever I have the opportunity since I have no doubt that they will be supportive of everything. They have groomed themselves very much in the field of photography, they have beautiful photos and perspectives and they continue to develop and share a lot about it. I've learned a lot for myself. I had incredible fun as other participants were very friendly too. Hope to meet you on new trips. With love...

I'm very happy and lucky to have known him and his wife recently and to have been involved in one of his tours. I believe that they will come to much more important places in the world of photography and they will achieve success in the future with their passionate view of life and photography.

Ezgi Erol - Banker

Cuma Çevik and his wife Merve Çevik are gorgeous photographers who do wonders with their photos for me. I participated in their July/September/2018 tour to Kayseri - Cappadocia first, and September / 2018 Black Sea photo tour. These tours helped me get to know them better. Both trips were epic. In addition to being a close witness to their knowledge about photography, when I saw the interest and sincerity they showed to the participants of the tour, I realised how right a choice I had made. Great people. The tours are very efficient and enjoyable. There can also be surprise locations. They answer the questions of all participants with sincerity and find solutions.

I'm sure we'll see Cuma and Merve - the adventurer who loves to travel have incredible hearts for photography - in much better places. I am personally following the photography workshops they organise, and I will attend as much as possible. I strongly advise everyone in this context, and you will never regret it.

Dear Cuma and Merve's workshop has been one of the most productive and fun among the photography tours I have ever participated in. And during the whole trip, lovely places, excellent photo opportunities were created, fictions were made, conversations were made, and fun was had. We have made new friends. With many thanks.

Ahmet Gultekin - Professional Photographer

Every minute of the Black Sea photo tour was beyond perfect. We had times we wouldn't forget; we had so much fun, we laughed so much, we took so many beautiful pictures and met so many lovely people. I'm glad I joined. I can't wait for the next tour.

I participated in Cappadocia and Kayseri photo tour. He is very attentive and disciplined work from the first sign-up moment to the last day was fantastic. We also did different shots that weren't on the schedule. We live in a time when information is easily accessible but has material value. It was great that he kept the number of participants in the limited number by choosing quality over quantity, and I think that's because of his educator personality. It's not far for us to see him and his wife in the right places because they love this job and they work hard. Their intimate characters will surely bring them somewhere. See you again. Thank you.
