Welcome to Switzerland - the country of rivers, lakes, mountains & green pastures in the heart of Europe. Our Swizterland Autumn photo tour is from October 6th to 12th, during the best time of year to photograph the forests' fall colours and the first snowfall on the peaks. On this tour, you will witness magnificent, fairy-tale Swiss landscapes that you will remember forever.

On this tour, we will mainly focus on capturing the most iconic landscapes in Switzerland during the best moments of light. At the same time, we will experience many activities that we must do in Switzerland. We will join the dreamy panorama train tour, see the famous Swiss mountains by cable cars, visit the Alps and photograph the landscapes that are the subject of many movies. We'll try the famous local foods and get lost in the chocolate shops.

Most importantly, we will collect pleasant memories. So let's get started!

This is not just a photography workshop. It will also be an experience where we will witness the magnificent landscapes closely, visit the mountains with unique views at the first light of day, taste local food and experience many more surprises.

Anyone at any level of photography can join. Even if you're not a photographer, you can also accompany us for a stroll and enjoy the beautiful views.

Our schedule may vary depending on weather conditions, but in general, it will be as follows:

DAY 1: Zurich Airport & Zug

This Switzerland Photo Tour will begin at Zurich Airport (ZRH), where we'll pick you up by 2 pm and meet with the rest of the group. Then we will drive about 1,5 hours to our hotel in the Canton of Zug. Zug is Switzerland's smallest canton, but it is located in the heart of the country, and this charming canton is the richest in Switzerland. The town of Zug is a small settlement named after its mountain and lake. After checking into the hotel and having a quick dinner, we head to a nearby village to take sunset photos. You will love this wonderful village filled with lonely trees at the tip of tiny hills. A photographer's paradise with grazing sheep, cows and lush nature! After our sunset photo session, we return to our hotel to rest.

DAY 2: Appenzell

We will wake up early in the morning and return to the same village to take sunrise photos. This time we will try different angles and compositions in many different locations. After a beautiful morning session, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. Then we check out from the hotel and drive to Appenzell, where we will spend the next two days shooting some outstanding landscapes. We will photograph landscapes adorned with lush green meadows, cows and sheep, and farmhouses along the way. After a 1.5-hour journey, we arrive in Appenzell, also known as Heidiland. This region is also famous for its cheeses. We will stop by a good restaurant for cheese tasting and lunch. After lunch, we will check into our hotel.

After settling in the hotel, we will set out for the sunset photo locations. The usual view of Appenzell is marked by green hills, dense forests and small villages with tree houses, as it is located at the foot of the Alps. Our sunset location is Weissbad, one of these villages. After taking many beautiful photos, we will go to a restaurant for dinner and then return to our hotel to rest.

DAY 3: Appenzell

Are you ready for a fantastic day? If yes, we will go to a gorgeous alpine village for sunrise. Here we will rest our souls while taking wonderful landscape photos. After seeing full of green landscapes that are like therapy for our souls, we return to our hotel for breakfast.

We'll have breakfast at the hotel and rest for a while; then, we will set out for a mountain walk to Ebenalp and photograph the legendary view along the way. We will first take the cable car to the Kapelle St. Michael (Wildkirchli) monastery in a cave at an altitude of 1500 meters. After a 45-minute walk down from the monastery, we will face the view of Seealpsee. Here we will take a short break for lunch with the magnificent mountain and lake view.

After lunch in Seealpsee, we will photograph the lake and mountains from different angles. When our photography session is over, we will walk an hour downhill to where we parked our vehicle. Then we will drive to another nearby village for the sunset. Legendary mountain views await us in this village. After capturing amazing photos in this village, we will return to the restaurant for dinner and back to our hotel.

DAY 4: Lungern & Brienz

This morning we'll sleep well and regain our energy. After breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and head to Lungern. After a 2,5 hours journey, we'll arrive at the legendary sights of Lungern. Lungern is like a green-blue pearl hidden among the mountains. A peaceful, quiet and magical paradise. Here we'll shoot amazing photos during the day, and then we will go to our hotel to check in. Then we will go to a restaurant to take a quick lunch.

After this, how about a scenic tour in the Alps with Switzerland's most famous steam panorama train? This legendary Brienz Rothorn Railway Steam Train departs from Brienz will take us to the Rothorn peak. On the way, we will take amazing photos, and when we reach the top, we will have one hour of free time if the weather is not foggy and the view is clear. So you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Alps. Then we will go down to Brienz again by steam train and go to a few more secret locations with breathtaking views. After this, we'll go back to the hotel to rest.

DAY 5: Lauterbrunnen & Wengen

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll check out and head to the most beautiful valley on the earth! Lauterbrunnen valley, also known as the "Valley of 72 waterfalls", is a spectacular valley surrounded by huge mountains and 300-meter waterfalls. In the morning we'll photograph this magnificent valley and the Staubbach waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls (297m) in Europe.

When you come to Lauterbrunnen, it would be a disappointment if you not visiting the village of Wengen, at an altitude of 1650 meters. This village is closed to car traffic, so we need to use the climbing train using the cog railway to go to the village. We will take photos from different angles in this charming alpine village and take a lunch break. Then, we will have a little free time to wander around the village.

After that, we will take pictures of the valley from a few different viewpoints, where we can find wonderful compositions of the Lauterbrunnen.

DAY 6: Lauterbrunnen & Grindelwald

At sunrise we will hike through the Lauterbrunnen valley and during the hike we will have the chance to capture images of many wonderful compositions from the valley. If we are lucky, we can also photograph the low clouds that have down into the valley. Then we will return to our hotel for breakfast and then drive to Grindelwald, one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. A village in the heart of the Alps, which is surrounded by massive, 4,000-meter-high peaks and glaciers. This village, also known as the ice village, is also the most famous ski resort in Switzerland. We have some fantastic photo locations here. It is one of the favourite places to visit with its green hills, gigantic peaks and panoramic views.

From the centre of Grindelwald, we will take the cable cars to go to the First summit. At the summit, we will shoot many magnificent views and take a quick lunch. After lunch, we will walk down to the valley. During this walk, which will take approximately 1 hour, we will witness and photograph breathtaking views.

When we arrive in Grindelwald, we will photograph the green hills and the red trains coming down from the opposite mountains during sunset. After this, we'll go to a restaurant where we will have Grindelwald's famous meat fondue and cheese fondue for dinner. We return to our hotel after dinner to rest.
